Hey if you haven't read already in the last post, we are going to have a special going on ONLY through our blog, here is the wonderful ( LOL) special: If you book a session with us before the end of August, we will give you a BONUS sheet of wallets OR a BONUS 5x7 picture! We are very excited about this special! After this special we will have another special at the beginning of September. We just did a wonderful wedding today. It was a lot of fun, even though it was 106 degrees lol! We will have upcoming pictures of this wedding and of other ones soon! I would like to congratulate Rachael & Jesse on their wedding day!

Hi... everyone,
I'm sorry i haven't been on for so long, we have had so many things going on since we moved. If you havent heard already we moved to a new studio on third and broadalbin in downtown albany. We have had a great move. Our new place is more then we could have asked for...Our new studio has HUGE store front windows, sometimes i feel like i work in a fishbowl! we just had a GRAND opening with a lot of the other stores at the end of July. We are hopefully going to have more next year during the summer. Our wedding sessions are going great, if you haven't booked us already for your wedding, please do soon because we have been booking fast. Dont worry if its a year from now because we already have a wedding booked in the beginnning of september of NEXT year... My Daughter is raising money for school, she will be going to D.C at the end of 8th grade. To help her raise money for this we have decided to have a special going on during the saturday markets every saturday. The pictures we will be doing is this, we will be taking pictures of you and your dogs, for $3 you will get a picture of your animal and you together and your dog gets a dog cookie.

High School sessions are just satrting, We have the best of time taking their pictures. We do not pose them we let them express them selves during their pictures. If you havent booked us already please do soon the weather is great right now. We would love to meet and get to know your senior, and would be so happy to make these pictures a memory to keep forever.

During this month of August we will be having a special going on through our blog more details in the next couple of days.

The other Senior

Well here she is... Meet Chelsea... We went to LBCC for this shoot.... quite a few places to shoot at... I loved the fountain.... she pretended it was raining just so she could use her red umbrella... Chelsea loves to model , in other words, she loves the camera... not shy at all, loved all the attention and really put on a show for those that were watching her... she said she had so much fun that she wanted to go again the next day....

Bridal Fairs

I just got through putting all my stuff away from being at a Bridal Fair today in Lebanon... it was the first one I've ever done... and I must say... it was different... I'm not used to standing in one place and having engaged couples come up to me wanting info... The booth was in a great spot... (I requested the same spot for next year)... right by the door... so they saw me as they came in and as they went out... sorry I don't have a picture of my booth ... I didn't take my camera...yea yea I know, here I am a photographer and I didn't have a camera with me... to be honest, I was so nervous about forgetting something that I might need for the booth, that I never even gave my camera a thought....I had candles on the table, with a few flowers, my sign was hung up, I had albums to show and a few framed pictures on the table... then on easels, I had an engagement photo, a bridal shoot portrait (see photo) and then a portrait from a wedding... so the Brides-to-be got to see a sample of all the sessions that I do... I also had a Bridal Fair Special and I'll share it with those that didn't get to come on Sunday... if you book your Wedding BEFORE March 15th, I'm including an 8 x 8 Album with your package.... now this isn't the proof book that's included in all the packages....This is an Album for your retouched photos... email me soon ... inthelens@comcast.net

As promised...

In my first Blog, I said I had an Engagement Shoot and a Senior Shoot and promised photos from each... well, as promised you got to meet Rachel and Joe .... Now you get to meet Andrew... his most favorite thing to do is..... Tai Quon Do... and I'll bet I just messed up the spelling of that, sorry Andrew... well, anyway, he was just amazing to watch... he was so serious, you could just see it in his face... I sat on the WET grass and just started clicking my camera with my mouth wide open... I've seen this on TV but nothing like this up close... he was just amazing... and boy could he get off the ground... he must of jumped up a good 5 ft or more. What a great show he put on... Thanks Andrew, I really enjoyed watching you....

So how am I doing so far on the Blogging thing? It's really not as bad as I thought, in fact, its kind of fun sharing photos.

Do you want to see more? I have still another Senior to do in the next few days... This time it's a girl and she loves to model... I can't wait to get her "In The Lens".

Joe & Rachel

These guys were so cute, she kept laughing and he just kept grinning at her... both nervous, but as the afternoon went on, they relaxed and had fun. Now that they are "pros" at this photo thing, their Wedding Day will be a breeze. Engagement Sessions are a good thing...Joe, just think you won't have the "photo butterflies" anymore. Oh and speaking of their weddding day, Rachel and Joe are getting married in April... and on MY BIRTHDAY. Those that know me, know how much I love shooting weddings, so what better present could I ask for? Thank's Rachel and Joe for a great shoot...

There's a first time for everything...

Oh wow, this feels so weird to me. Doing a Blog. Everyone has one it seems, except for me... I was beginning to feel left out... so I too will give it a try... not something I feel comfortable with yet, but hey let's go for it... what's the worse that can happen? So what if no one reads mine.. oh my gosh how embarrassing is that?

Embarrassing and a little scary if I do say so myself… I guess I’ve got to get used to it… Blogging that is.... they tell me it’s like a “diary”… and if that’s the case, my gosh am I in trouble. (wink)…

This seems to be "the place" to Iet everyone know what's new in the studio, and to share photos of sessions, to let you know of new items, specials and just keep up to date…

Before I go I have to ask this question, can you believe its almost the end of February?... Wow, where has all the time gone... it seems like it was just Christmas and now it's almost Tax Time... (now there's a happy thought .. yea right)...

Well this is the end of my first try at Blogging... come back again and see what else I get to share with you....

I have a Senior Session coming up next week and an Engagement shoot this weekend, I'll have some great photos to share with you... all in the next few days....
